Been away for a while

I have been struggling with time to create anything new. I've been working on some projects and did my annual team sketches (sorry no scans of them). Here's a commission that I just finished. Trying some new techniques with some success.

I wanted to share some photos by my friend Mel Kinney in Philadelphia, PA. She is very talented and takes some outstanding photos. Hopefully she will create a blog or website with more of her work. For now, here is a taste.

Three Portraits

The company has created three awards for a some former employees who passed away. They were going to use badge photos, but I was able to convince them to let me have a crack at creating something suitable.

The two men were good friends of mine, so I was happy to do this. I didn't know the woman very well, but she is remembered fondly as well.

House Drawing

Drawing done for my Mom to give to my Brother and his wife. I hope they have seen it. It was for Christmas.

Anna Doing Her Thing

This is a quick sketch for one of my lacrosse players who is leaving high school early for college to play field hockey. I usually do a drawing for each of my seniors and she was disappointed that she wasn't going to be playing this spring and would miss out on her drawing. Hockey is her main sport anyway.

Great kid, very happy for her.
